Today was the music assessment (pentatonic melody), but since I'm guitar and new I only did the C scale. It's a good thing Angie taught me about it. Then when Qintahara played 3 notes of flute (which I couldn't do) so he talked with us (me and Sasha) in the violin class. It was fun. But for next year which music instrument should I pick guitar or violin??

Today I used Mourezky's guitar from instrument it was actually a bit easier than flute because before I learned guitar but I forgot how. But Angie has helped me learned the C note they're learning now. Makes me wish that I want to join guitar.

11 November 2010 Thursday

Even though Mr.Sadrakh gave everyone another chance, I still couldn't play my pentatonic melody. So Mr. Sadrakh gave me and Sasha the challenge. He told Qinthara and Mourezky to stand up and they would have to play our flutes for 1 week. Mr. told Sasha to choose who she wants to use her flute for a week, well it's pretty obvious she would choose Qinthara so I'm stuck with Mourezky taking care of mine (X( GROSS!!!)

Today is our rehearsal for playing the pentatonic melody, since I'm not good in playing the flute. Mr.Sadrakh gave everyone another chance next Thursday (SAVED!!!!)

Today we have to out our pentatonic melody in the assessment task( A good thing I did it already). Mr.Sadrakh also check our  on our blog spot. Since I haven't been doing it my score decreased by 1 (sad face)

Today we had a test about the Asian song test, I think I'm going to fail because my answers weren't really complete, I only answer one question complete. (Just hope that I pass)

Today we learned about the pentatonic scale. Since I'm no good at music I didn't really understand it

Today Mr.Sadrakh got mad at us because we got a very bad mark on our written test (like I said) I got 4.5/20 (well at least I didn't got the last score) but for my booklet I got a better mark, I got 7/8. Mr. Sadrakh taught that we needed to change seats because Mr. Sadrakh thinks that it will make us distracted and not focus on what we're learning so now I sit between Pinka and Kevin.F I also didn't want/couldn't do a work so Mr. Sadrakh said I should go outside with the rest it was pretty fun because I was with the other 6B students who didn't got the question right or whom chose not to do it.

Today we have to re-do the PowerPoint before we re-did it we got 6/8 it was actually pretty fine for me to have that score, but the rest of the group wants to do it so I have to. It was totally worth it tough because in the end we got 7/8. Our movie have one that has music instruments but the 2nd movie does not really have that much instruments.

Today I was late, but on top of that we presented the Asian song presentation we (the Indian group) had to go first because Choi and Brian.J raised there hands, (well actually it's just Choi but he forced Brian to) so we have to go first. I just read my parts, then I was done, we forgot about the video and some pictures, so I'm pretty sure  we wont get a good mark. We also learned about the pentatonic scale.

Mr. Sadrakh didn't came  today, so Mr. John substitute. We did the rehearsal of the Asian PowerPoint, I'm gonna have to memorize the words next week.

Today we did a test and sing our Asian song... I hope i get a good mark... But I'm sure for the test im going to get a very bad mark. But hopefully not the worst.

Today Mr.Sadrakh came and ask us what we learned last week and we reviewed about the sharps, flats and triads/chords.

23 September 2010 Thursday

Today Mr.Sadrakh didn't came, so Mr. John substitute. We learned about the triads/chords and a flat scale. We also got homework. I'm pretty terrible at flats so I have to learn more about the flats, triads/chords.

20 September 2010, Monday

Today we have to do groups on 'Asian group slide presentation' I got stuck with India. This time I have to do better than last time or I wont pass grade 6. I also did the music "test" by test I mean playing the instruments I managed to do 3 notes.

Today was a really unlucky day for me 1. I came in late 2. I still don't have the blog 3. I didn't bind so it was really unlucky day for me. Next thing I have to do and remember is to make a blog and go to Mr. Sadrakh"s room with Pinka but in the end I came alone.

Today we learned the 3# and we got a homework about the same types of instruments from Bali and Kalimantan. Everyone got paired up with their instrument group
